This training session on searching Medline using the OVID platform is designed to support staff in developing effective and systematic approaches to locating high quality health research. It introduces participants to the structure of Medline and the functionality of the OVID interface with a focus on building search strategies using keywords, MeSH terms and advanced search techniques.

HSE Staff and authorised users of the HSE Library Service who are undertaking a literature review as part of an academic course, developing a PPPG or who want to conduct efficient, reproducible searches to support evidence-based practice and academic research.
